You
might notice Filters tab in Requirements, Processes, Layouts and
variables editors. User can create filters in this tab. These filters
can be made private or public. By default all filters are private. One
thing to notice about filters is, two users can’t create a filter with
same name even if they are private.
Wild Card (%) Usage:
If you don’t know what you
are searching or filtering for, wild cards can come in handy. You have
to use ‘Like’ in ‘Operator’ combo box.
Example 1: If you are
filtering for all processes that start with VA01 then you will have to
select ‘Like’ in ‘Operator’ combo box and enter ‘VA01%’ in the
‘Operand’ field.
Example 2: If you are
filtering for all processes that has VA01 (in the beginning, middle or
end of process name), then you have to enter ‘%VA01% in the operand
field.
Example 3: If you are filtering for all processes that end with VA01 then you have to enter %VA01 in the operand field.
These filters can be made dynamic so you can search for the processes dynamically.
