Using keyboard shortcuts in Process and data editor to create steps in a process

An example of using the keyboard to add steps.

 

  1. Once the process and data editor is open, enter the Process name.
  2. Hit Ctrl-Alt-S to bring focus to the step tab
  3. Hit Ctrl-Insert-m to add a comment step
  4. Hit tab to get the comment parameter
  5. Enter a comment
  6. Hit Ctrl-Alt-S again to bring focus to the step tab
  7. Hit Ctrl-Insert-. to bring up live touch

Now you can use Live touch to create the rest of the steps.

To see more shortcuts, enter “shortcuts” in the Certify On line help search box.
