Test execute pop up message at the beginning of the test

Problem: When a .NET test starts for the 1st time for the day, a Test execute message appears. After answering OK the popup goes away and will not appear unless the workstation is restarted.

 

Root cause: According to http://www.registrygenius.com/dll-errors/tcRTL.bpl.html, the problem is caused by a corrupt environment.
Solution: To overcome the problem of the tcRTL.bpl error:, please try following the steps below:

1. Uninstall TestComplete.
2. Remove the folder in which the tool was installed.
3. Reboot the machine.
4. Install the tool once again.
5. Reinstall Microsoft Script Debugger using the link below:
Microsoft Script Debugger.
6. Check whether the problem can be reproduced.
