New installation: SAP GUI connection speed

For a new installation (or if this is first time you are using the Certify SAP interface), if you notice that there are objects with () in the physical names of the objects when you try to learn an SAP screen, that means the connection speed on the SAP GUI is not configure correctly to work with Certify. Please check the Worksoft Certify installation guidefor details on how to set the SAP GUI connection speed.

 

 

 

For a new installation of SAP GUI, if the Scripting options is not turned on and you tried to Learn SAP GUI:

If SAP GUI is started but the Script option is turned off, at the start of SAP Learn, you will get "SAP scripting is disabled by the user". (If the user clicks ok and tries to learn, another error message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" will appear.

Solution: Please follow the instructions on how to configure SAP GUI in the Worksoft Certify installation guide.

 

If scripting option is turned on but notification is not turned off and you tried to Learn SAP GUI.

If SAP GUI is started, then you will get a notification message but SAP learn will still be able to Learn SAP GUI.
