MS office automation

Worksoft Certify 8.6.0 and up provides the capability to automate certain actions in Microsoft office applications for users who have purchased a license for Certify .Net Interface:

-          Word

-          Outlook

-          Excel

-          Powerpoint

To create maps for the Microsoft office applications above, one must use Winlearn.  However, do not select "Learn" to create the Microsoft office application amps, instead use Tools -> Office Automation to create a map file.

For example, click on Create Office Maps and select "All" to create All maps for the four applications. (There is no need to have the Office application open to create the maps). If you select "All", there will be four map files generated. Each map file contains one window and one object. In Worksoft Certify, create an application version for .net interface called MS office and import these map files. There will be one window and one object for each application imported.

Note: If you do not have a valid license for Certify .Net Interface, you will get an error message which says "You cannot select an interface that you don't have a valid license for."  Please contact your Worksoft Account manager if you would like a trial version of the Certify .Net interface.
