Certify Connect Installation, configuration and upgrade

Certify Connect Installation, configuration and upgrade

Question: Would it be OK to install the Connect products and  SQL Server on one server if it has the horsepower?

Answer: If this is a production installation, we do not recommend it.  For Security reasons, most IT policy will not allow the Database Server, Web Server, and Application Server to be on the same machine.  They should be within the same sub-network, but not on the same machine.  Clarification -- The Certify Connect and other Certify related databases can be all on the same Database server, but the Web/Application server should not be installed on the Database server.

Question: We've both multiple Worksoft products. Is there an order to how we should install the products?

Answer: Worksoft Certify is a pre-quisite for all the other Worksoft Certify product so it should be installed first. Other products can be installed in any order. Please see an example below:

1. Certify

2. Certify for SAP

3. Certify Learn

4. Certify Data

5. Certify Impact

6. QC Interface
